NTA is expected to conduct the NIFT PG interviews in the first week of April 2026, and the NIFT 2026 situation test tentatively in the second week of April 2026. NTA also specifies in its official brochure that candidates suffering with diabetes are allowed to carry the following items into the exam centre:
- Diabetic medicine (Sugar tablets)
- Transparent water bottle.
- Fruits (like apple / banana/ orange)
NIFT Admit Card 2026 - Exam Day Instructions
There are certain instructions to be followed on the exam day. Below is the list of NIFT 2026 exam day instructions to be followed for the exam.
- Students have to carry a valid identity card along with the NIFT 2026 admit card to the exam centre. No candidate will be allowed to enter the test centre without the NIFT entrance hall ticket 2026.
- The candidates have to mandatorily carry blue and black ballpoint pens, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, & dry colours for CAT exam to the test centre.
- The test centre’s gates will be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of the entrance exam. Candidates who arrive after the reporting time will not be allowed to enter the NIFT exam centre.
- Students will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the completion of the examination.
- Candidates will be disqualified from the NIFT admission process who try to use unfair means.
- Candidates are not allowed to take the answer sheet or the question booklet with them outside the exam centres. Doing so is punishable and will result in the cancellation of the candidate’s candidature.
NIFT Situation Test Admit Card 2026
NTA will release the NIFT 2026 situation test admit card at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee for shortlisted candidates. Alternatively, aspirants can also visit www.nift.ac.in to download the NIFT 2026 situation test admit card. For a few programmes, NIFT will conduct personal interviews instead of the situation test. In this case, candidates will be issued the PI call letter. The NIFT 2026 situation test admit card is also a mandatory document that candidates must carry to appear for the test.
